The Heart Ball places spoken word at the highest priority. The stories shared are powerful testimonies of survivors and supporters. We don't want any of those to go unheard! There's also a live auction led by a fast-talking auctioneer that needs to be understood over a bed of high-energy music. On the video front, there's realtime interactive bidding on screen as well as the pre-recorded video stories of survivors. After the programming wraps, the dance floor opens for either a live band or a DJ to get people up and moving.

Sometimes the most fun responsibilities go beyond excellent AVL. We do that too, of course, but one of our favorite parts of the Heart Ball is making realtime playlist decisions to coordinate the music with the live auction! We also provide the live band with requested backline requirements (mic packages, our DW Collectors Series drum kit, wireless in-ear monitoring system, etc). The after-party needs to bump and at this specific event, the low end is sponsored by our Danley Sound Labs subwoofers. Their size-to-sound output ratio is tough to beat!
